Monitoring &
Certification
Safety is always a matter of quality: Thanks to our extensive experience in monitoring the development and recycling of construction materials for road construction, we are a knowledgeable and independent partner—especially when it comes to the
relevant certification.
Our competence and independence as a conformity assessment body are confirmed by our accreditation from DAkkS and—for the relevant construction products—by our notification under reference number 1323.
Our certification activities are conducted in accordance with the applicable European Construction Products Regulation and the harmonized technical specifications applicable to the respective construction product.
Factory Production Control and Certification:
For construction products for which the applicable system for assessing and verifying constancy of performance (AVCP) requires certification of factory production control by a notified body, we monitor and certify the factory production control.

Third-Party Monitoring and Alkali-Silica Reaction:
Of course, our certification and monitoring program also includes third-party monitoring in accordance with the DAfStb Alkali Guideline, as well as the corresponding tests and evaluations to prevent harmful alkali-silica reactions.

Quality Assurance
Through our extensive third-party monitoring activities both domestically and abroad, we serve as your knowledgeable and independent partner throughout Europe. We support manufacturers with practical quality assurance, third-party monitoring, and the development of customized quality assurance plans—from testing raw materials to evaluating
finished building materials.
Our range of services covers natural, industrially produced, and recycled mineral aggregates as well as mineral substitute building materials. Monitoring is conducted in accordance with the applicable European and national technical regulations and legal requirements.
Third-party monitoring of:
- Quarries and gravel pits in accordance with TL Gestein-StB 04/23, relevant European product standards (e.g., DIN EN 12620), and the applicable alkali directive
- Recycling and processing plants in accordance with TL G SoB-StB 20/23, the Substitute Construction Materials Ordinance (ErsatzbaustoffV), and other relevant regulations
- Facilities and operations in the mineral waste management sector, including quality assurance and monitoring of mineral substitute construction materials
- Specialized waste management companies within the scope of the applicable certification and monitoring responsibilities under Section 56 of the Waste Management Act (KrWG) and the relevant Specialized Waste Management Companies Ordinance
- Production facilities for track ballast and aggregate mixtures for base courses in railway construction
Production facilities for hydraulic engineering stones - Production facilities for industrially manufactured aggregates, e.g., steel mill slag, municipal solid waste incineration ash, natural and artificial lightening aggregates, and other special aggregates
- Recycled aggregates in accordance with DIN 12620 and DIN 4226-121
