Concrete Testing
Concrete is a key building material throughout the construction industry.
We conduct suitability, initial, follow-up, and other tests on fresh and hardened concrete as well as on precast concrete components.
The tests are performed in accordance with the applicable current testing standards and technical regulations based on DIN EN 206, DIN 1045, ZTV-ING, and other regulations for concrete construction methods in road construction, such as ZTV-Beton-StB,
TL Beton-StB, and TP B-StB.

Rock Testing &
Quality Assurance
Each year, approximately 550 to 600 million metric tons of rock are processed into high-quality construction materials. As the leading specialist in Northern Europe, we play a key role in ensuring the quality of these materials.
We test natural, industrially produced, and recycled aggregates, as well as mineral-based substitute construction materials, in accordance with the applicable current standards and regulations.
For road construction, the TL Gestein-StB 04/23 standard is particularly relevant. For other applications, we take into account, among other things, the current DBS standards for track ballast and aggregate mixtures, TL-W, the DAfStb alkali guideline, and the Substitute Construction Materials Ordinance.

Quality Assurance – Europe-Wide

Thanks to our extensive third-party monitoring activities both domestically and abroad, we are a knowledgeable and independent partner for you throughout Europe. We develop comprehensive quality assurance plans for you and support you in implementing your projects:
- Quarries and gravel pits in accordance with TL Gestein-StB and the currently applicable DIN EN standards, as well as in compliance with the relevant alkali directive
- Recycling and processing plants in accordance with TL G SoB-StB, the Alternative Construction Materials Ordinance (ErsatzbaustoffV), and other relevant regulations

HYDRO-ENGINEERING BLOCKS
HYDRO-ENGINEERING BLOCKS IN ACCORDANCE WITH TLW 2022
Asphalt-Labor is a testing laboratory recognized by the Federal Institute for Hydraulic Engineering (BAW) in accordance with the “Guideline for the Recognition of Testing Laboratories for Hydraulic Engineering Blocks in Transportation Hydraulic Engineering” (RAP Waba 07) for inspection testing of hydraulic engineering blocks.
Our testing services cover natural, industrially manufactured, and—to the extent covered by the respective contract and regulations—recycled hydraulic engineering blocks.
